December 2, 2023 is a memorable day in the history of DINHO's development. The groundbreaking ceremony of Zhejiang DINHO Key Functionalized Materials for New Energy Battery (Capacitor) (Phase II) Construction Project was held in Changxing County Economic Development Zone. Following the commissioning of the first phase of Zhejiang Dinghao, the commencement of the second phase of the project marks a new stage in the development of the company.

More than one hundred people attended the groundbreaking ceremony, including leaders of Changxing County Economic Development Zone and Painted Creek Street, representatives of industry associations, customers and suppliers, industry research institutes, friends of the new energy industry, financial institutions, contractors, and representatives of DINHO staff.

In his speech, Mr. Wang Zhengqiang, Chairman of DINHO, firstly expressed his heartfelt thanks to the leaders at all levels who have devoted themselves to giving care and help to this project, and to all the guests and friends who have long supported and cared about the development of DINHO. He said that after the completion of the second phase of the project with a total investment of 495 million dollars, the company's overall production capacity will be expanded five times on the existing level. He hoped that the next project can realize smooth, safe and fast progress, and strive for early completion and put into production.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Li Zhiyun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Economic Development Zone and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Painted Creek Street, Prof. Xia Yongyao of Fudan University, Mr. Song Jinbao, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nanjing Guoxuan Battery, and Mr. Wang Zeshen, Secretary General of the China Association of Chemical and Physical Power Supplies, delivered speeches one after another. They spoke highly of DINHO's scientific and technological innovation ability and market development efforts, expecting that the construction of the new base will strongly promote DINHO's rapid development and inject new vitality into the development of the industry. Meanwhile, the construction of the new base will further promote the development of local economy and optimization of industrial structure.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Site

Deputy Secretary of the county party committee, secretary of the political and legal committee, secretary of the party working committee of the development zone, Shen Hongfeng announced the commencement of the project. The main leaders and industry guests attending the ceremony laid the foundation stone for the groundbreaking project.

Based on the existing technology of Shanghai Dinghao, Zhejiang DINHO New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. develops and produces functionalized fluid collectors and functionalized diaphragms with organic solvent resistance, heat stability, corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. Last year, the first phase of Zhejiang DINHO settled in Changxing and put into production, today started the second phase of the project to invest 495 million yuan fixed investment of 463 million yuan of new industrial land 62.7 acres.

New production plant of more than 50,000 square meters, the acquisition of high-speed double-sided diaphragm coating machine, high-speed diaphragm slitting machine, high-speed disperser, high-speed double-sided gravure coating machine and other production equipment and auxiliary equipment. After the project is put into production, it will be able to produce 500 million square meters of functionalized diaphragm for lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitors and 50,000 tons of functionalized fluid collector, achieving an annual output value of 3 billion yuan and a profit of 800 million yuan, and the overall production capacity of the company will be expanded by five times of the existing level.
